I have had every opportunity in my life such as a loving, supportive family, good education, the chance to travel and a personally rewarding career. Even with these opportunities life throws you many challenges. I can't begin to imagine where I would have been without my wonderful family and education. Reading your story is nothing short of inspirational. As a teacher I face the helplessness of children growing up in an environment where respect for themselves, others and society has never been a priority for their parents. So the cycle of dependence on welfare and blame continues. I hope struggling single mums and dads take head of your success and begin to realise that strength to overcome adversity begins with the individual. I became a mother of twins at age 35. I never thought I could relate to anyone as much as i do you , Im 34 a single mum of 5 and have just had to shut my much loved business due to personal reasons much the same as the terrible things youve overcome in your life. I miss my business , just doesnt feel the same when i get up in the morning , im more than a mum ;o( so i look to you for inspiration to regain all Im lacking and to conquer the emptiness i feel inside and hope that one day i can feel complete again as i once did .
